For everyone's reading pleasur e, her e it is, the script for "Pir ates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Blac k Pearl". It took me hours to c omplete typing it all up by ear. So ther e will c ertainly be m istakes and ther e is a large shar e of m issed wor ds entir ely. Post it wher ever you want just give me credit. Other Notes (please read before e-mailing me, maybe your query has been already an swered):
- Ther e has been mor e discrepancy in the word 'parley', 'parlay', or a Fr enc h ver sion. The Disney book uses
'parley' so that's the one I'll be using.
- Of c our se, a great big thank you to those who've sent in corr ections and c omments. I update when I've amassed a consider able amount of updates.
- [NEW] This rec ent c orr ection is mostly from the c aptions on the DVD, so the lines should be mostly corr ect and complete.

Scene 1: (Dream sequence of Will’s rescue)
Young Elizabeth:[standing at the bow of a ship and singing] ?We pillage, we plunder, we rifle and loot. Drink up m e 'earties yo ho! We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot. Drink up me 'earties yo ho! Yo ho, yo ho a pirate's life for m e. We extort, we pilfer, we filch and sack. Drink up ? [Gibbs puts his hand on her shoulder which surprises her]
Gibbs: Quiet, missy! Cursed pirates sail these waters. You don?t want to bring them down on us, now, do ya?
Norrington: Mr.Gibbs, that will do!
Gibbs: She was singing about pirates. Bad luck to be singing about pirates with us mired in this unnatural fog. Mark m y words.
Norrington: Consider them marked. On your way.
Gibbs: Aye, Lieutenant. It?s bad luck to have a wom an on board, too? even a miniature one.
Young Elizabeth: I think it?d be rather exciting to m eet a pirate.
Norrington: Think again, Miss Swann. Vile and dissolute creatures, the lot of them.
